An app can request access to features that are not needed for a card game. Before playing, review what the app wants and whether the request matches a real function. Requests for contacts, microphones, messages, or continuous location deserve a closer look, especially when the reason is vague.

Install only through a source you can verify, and check the publisher name, update history, and support details. A familiar logo is not proof of authenticity. Avoid links delivered through unsolicited messages that push you to disable device protections or install an unknown package. If an installation instruction says that security warnings must be ignored, stop and verify the source through an independently known channel.

After installation, open the device’s permission panel rather than trusting a pop-up. Deny optional access at first and test whether the app works without it. You can grant a permission later if a specific feature genuinely requires it. Review notification previews as well; messages displayed on a locked screen can expose account or game information to anyone nearby.

Protect the account separately from the device. Use a unique password, enable an available security feature, and never share a verification code with a person who contacts you unexpectedly. Legitimate support should not need your password or a one-time code to diagnose an ordinary display issue. Keep payment details out of screenshots sent for help.

Permissions can change after updates. Make a habit of checking them when an app adds a new feature or behaves differently. If a request is unexplained, decline it and contact support through the known app store listing or official help route. Uninstalling an app is not always the first choice, but it is reasonable if the publisher cannot explain an unnecessary request.

Good safety practice is simple: verify the source, grant the minimum access, protect the account, and recheck after updates. These steps take less time than recovering a compromised device and help keep game activity separate from private information.

If a permission cannot be explained, do not trade privacy for convenience. Record the app version and the request, then seek an explanation from the verified publisher. A cautious delay is a normal part of safe installation.
